Chris Hemsworth (born 11 August 1983) is an Australian actor. He played the role of Kim Hyde in the Australian soap opera Home and Away and the titular character in the Marvel Studios film, Thor. Hemsworth will portray Thor again in the upcoming film The Avengers. Hemsworth was born in Melbourne, Australia to Leonie and Craig Hemsworth. His family relocated to a cattle station in the Northern Territory and lived there for a few years before moving to Phillip Island. Chris enjoyed surfing and playing sports while growing up.
